The GCODE file format is the native file format used by CNC machines and 3D printers as a means to coordinate the movement and actions of these machines. In the case of FDM 3D printers, the file contains commands to move the extruder to specific locations and the rate with which to extrude the plastic filament onto the build plate.
A GCODE is a plain text file containing lists of commands, with each command appearing on a new line within the file. These commands control how the CNC machine or 3D printer operates and creates a particular 3D object. GCODE is a standard format and is usually generated by 3D printing slicer software from standard 3D model formats such as STL.

The SKP 3D file format is the native file format used by SketchUp. The SketchUp application, which was released back in 2000 and is still going strong today, allows users to create detailed 3D graphics models.
SketchUp is popular amongst architectural designers, game developers, and other professionals and hobbyist users. The SKP format can be opened with the SketchUp application.
Any model converted to the SKP format will be stored in a triangulated mesh format.

Yes, of course! We do not store the GCODE file you submit to us. The resulting SKP file, once created is deleted 15 minutes after upload and the download link will expire after this time.

Yes. Although you can use an Ad Blocker, if you like our GCODE conversion tool please consider white-listing our site. When an Ad Blocker is enabled there are some conversion limits on some of our tools and processing/conversion times will be longer.
Yes. When you have converted your GCODE to SKP, there is a "Feedback" option that you can use to let us know of any issues you encountered when converting your file.
Yes! Our GCODE tool supports full batch conversions. You can upload up to 25 and GCODE files at a time. Our tool will convert them all as quickly as possible. Once completed, you can either download the SKP files individually or download them all in a single ZIP file.
