Use this free tool to view your 3D 3DM (Rhinoceros 3D) files online without needing to install any software. Our 3DM viewer tool will generate a real-time 3D preview of your 3DM file with Pan and Zoom controls allowing you to see your 3D model from any angle.
Our 3DM viewing tool can load most 3DM files and we are working on improvements all the time to improve compatibility with all file formats. If you are looking to convert your 2D image files to 3D files such as STL then we have a 2D to 3D conversion tool here.
Here are 2 simple steps to display your 3DM file in any web browser.
First, click the "Upload..." button and select the 3DM file you wish to view. Once your 3DM file has been received it will be displayed in your browser.
We aim to process all 3DM file viewing requests as quickly as possible, this usually takes around 5 seconds but can be more for larger or more complex files so please be patient.
We aim to create the most accurate rendition of your 3DM file with our tools. Our tools are under constant development with new features and improvements being added every week.
Yes, of course! We do not store the 3DM file you submit. The generated preview file within your browser is deleted after 15 minutes,
Yes! Our 3DM file viewer will run on any system with a modern web browser. No specialist software is needed to use our file viewing tools.
The 3DM format also known as Rhino3D or Rhinoceros 3D is a 3D graphics model file format developed and used in CAD applications, Industrial Design and 3D Printing. The format has some compatibility with Adobe Illustrator and can be exported as an AI file using vector graphics.
Although it is a 3D file format it stores data in the NURBS geometry format which allows for greater mathematically precision compared to triangle/polygon based mesh geometry formats such as STL. Along with support for converting between other CAD formats the 3DM format can also supports two different scripting languages.
