Along with converting DXF image files to SVG, our tool allows you to also adjust the image with some simple effects, such as applying a grayscale filter to the image. The DXF file format was first introduced in 1982 as part of Autodesk's AutoCAD software. DXF files were intended at the time to allow data interchange between AutoCAD and other CAD-related applications. The format has evolved over the years, with the most recent version coming in 2007.
DXF files can contain either text or binary content describing blocks, entities, objects, and other information using a "tagging" system. The DXF format is still popular today and can be opened with most popular CAD applications.
