Our free and fast tool will convert most 3D mesh or ABC (Alembic) model files to a standard XYZ (Point Cloud) file that can then be edited further in most popular 3D editing packages such as Blender or 3D printed without any further processing. Our conversion tool can also batch convert multiple ABC files; up to 25 files at a time can be converted.

The ABC (Alembic) file format is a graphics format containing 3D content that was originally developed by Sony Pictures Imageworks and Industrial Light & Magic and released in 2011. The aim of the ABC format is to enable the efficient interchange of 3D assets between different working entities.
The format can contain a variety of 3D object formats, including polygon meshes, NURBS, parametric curves, and more. The files can be opened by many 3D graphics applications, including the popular open-source Blender application.

The XYZ is a 3D file format used for representing 3D Point Clouds. The format contains only positional information (X, Y, and Z coordinates) for the individual points. The format is often used for digital elevation modeling of terrain for later processing in 3D modeling applications.
As the format only contains positional information, a common task is to convert this into a fully surfaced 3D model using methods such as Alpha Shapes or Delaunay Triangulation. The format can also be viewed without further processing in its raw format.
Only vertex information will be saved to the XYZ Point Cloud file generated by our tool; all other information, such as faces and material colors, will be discarded in the final file due to this information not being supported.
When creating a preview of the XYZ file, our tool will render the Point Cloud as individual squares.
