SGI (Irix RGB)

An SGI (Silicon Graphics Image) file is a bitmap image format used to store raster images that are used for high-quality graphics in many applications.

Within an SGI file, the image pixel data is stored as a sequence of bytes at either 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit color depths in an uncompressed form, ensuring there is no loss in quality when saving an image in the SGI format.
