Along with converting HEIC image files to BMP, our tool allows you to also adjust the image with some simple effects, such as applying a grayscale filter to the image. The HEIC is a modern image format, with the final specification completed in 2015. The format is a container format, which, while mostly used for storing image data, can actually support video, audio, and text data streams.
HEIC files are binary in nature and offer an alternative to existing digital photo formats such as JPEG features better compression while retaining comparable image quality. In some cases, the file size can be 50% that of the equivalent JPG file.

The BMP file format is a two-dimensional image file format popular on Microsoft Windows operating systems. Data is stored in the BMP file in a raster format, with pixels being represented using various color depths ranging from monochrome 1-bit per pixel (bpp) to full color 24-bits per pixel.
