The OpenSCAD file format, or SCAD, is the native file format of the popular free CAD software OpenSCAD used for creating 3D CAD models. The SCAD software is still in active development, with new features being added with each version.

The USDZ format is a relatively new 3D file format developed by Pixar in 2016. It is a compressed version of the similarly named USD file and will contain either a USDA (ASCII text) or USDC (Binary) file along with related assets such as texture image files. The format is open source and has the support of major players in the space, such as Apple, Adobe, and more.

The resulting USDZ file, once created, is stored for 4 hours after upload; after this time it is deleted, and the short-term download link will stop working. You can create a long-term download Url with most tools that will ensure the file is retained for 24 hours, allowing you to download the file when convenient. Our tools also come with a Delete button, allowing you to delete the file immediately.
No. All our conversion tools process your SCAD file on our dedicated conversion servers, meaning you can use our tools on low-spec computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices and receive your converted USDZ file quickly.
