The DXF file format was first introduced in 1982 as part of Autodesk's AutoCAD software. DXF files were intended at the time to allow data interchange between AutoCAD and other CAD-related applications. The format has evolved over the years, with the most recent version coming in 2007.
DXF files can contain either text or binary content describing blocks, entities, objects, and other information using a "tagging" system. The DXF format is still popular today and can be opened with most popular CAD applications.

The USDZ format is a relatively new 3D file format developed by Pixar in 2016. It is a compressed version of the similarly named USD file and will contain either a USDA (ASCII text) or USDC (Binary) file along with related assets such as texture image files. The resulting USDZ file, once created, is stored for 4 hours after upload; after this time it is deleted, and the short-term download link will stop working. You can create a long-term download Url with most tools that will ensure the file is retained for 24 hours, allowing you to download the file when convenient. Our tools also come with a Delete button, allowing you to delete the file immediately.
