Convert image files with our easy-to-use and free tool. Our tool lets you upload a QOI (Quite OK Image Format) file and, from this, create a new image saved in the WEBP (WebP) format that you can then download and edit within image file editors or use for high-definition printing applications. Our conversion tool can also batch convert multiple QOI image files; up to 25 files at a time can be converted.
Along with converting QOI image files to WEBP, our tool allows you to also adjust the image with some simple effects, such as applying a grayscale filter to the image. These additional options are available within the Options tab. Along with grayscale, you can also mirror or flip the image if needed. For single QOI file uploads, you will also see options to resize and rotate your image.
This option can be used to rotate the image in 90° increments.
When selected, this option will flip the image vertically.
When selected, this option will mirror the image horizontally.
When checked, this will apply a grayscale filter to the image, turning any color image into a grayscale image.
When checked, this will apply a negative filter to the image, inverting all the colors within the image.

The QOI file format is a modern image format capable of storing full color (32-bit) images in a compact format, with file sizes of QOI files similar to those of a PNG file.
QOI files are designed first and foremost with encoding and decoding speed in mind. It is many times faster to encode or decode an image into the QOI format than other formats, such as PNG.

The WebP format created to be a successor to the JPEG image file format features enhanced lossy compression, resulting in smaller files than a comparable JPEG file. The format also supports lossless compression and animations, making it possible to use it as an alternative to animated GIFs.
The format has its limitations, such as a maximum width of 16384 pixels. Support for displaying WebP images is well supported within most modern web browsers, with older browsers such as Internet Explorer requiring additional plugins to display the image content.

Yes, of course! We do not store the QOI file you submit to us. The resulting WEBP file, once created is deleted 15 minutes after upload and the download link will expire after this time.

Yes. Although you can use an Ad Blocker, if you like our QOI conversion tool please consider white-listing our site. When an Ad Blocker is enabled there are some conversion limits on some of our tools and processing/conversion times will be longer.
Yes. When you have converted your QOI to WEBP, there is a "Feedback" option that you can use to let us know of any issues you encountered when converting your file.
