XPM (X Windows system pixmap)

An XPM file, short for X PixMap, is a common file format used for storing bitmap images in a simple and straightforward manner.

The XPM format is text-based and can be easily created and edited using a plain text editor. Each XPM file consists of a header section and a pixel data section.
