UYVY (Interleaved YUV)

UYVY files use an image file format where the image data consists of raw pixel data with no header information. This lack of header information, which usually contains the image dimensions, means the image size must be specified prior to loading a YUV image.

Within a UYVY file, image data is stored as a set of U, Y, U, and V values, with each set used to represent each pixel: U (chrominance)-Y (luminance)-V (chrominance)-Y (luminance).
