PICT (QuickDraw/PICT)

A PICT file is a graphics file format dating from the early Apple Macintosh range of computers and was used to store images that could be either bitmap or vector.

An unusual feature for the time, the PICT format can store either vector or bitmap graphics. Bitmap images can be either color or black and white, while the vector format can contain lines, curves, and other vector elements.
