Convert image files with our easy-to-use and free tool. Our tool lets you upload a TXT (Data URI Scheme) file and, from this, create a new image saved in the PNG (Portable Network Graphics) format that you can then download and edit within image file editors or use for high-definition printing applications. Our conversion tool can also batch convert multiple TXT image files; up to 25 files at a time can be converted.
Along with converting TXT image files to PNG, our tool allows you to also adjust the image with some simple effects, such as applying a grayscale filter to the image. These additional options are available within the Options tab. Along with grayscale, you can also mirror or flip the image if needed. For single TXT file uploads, you will also see options to resize and rotate your image.
This option can be used to rotate the image in 90° increments.
When selected, this option will flip the image vertically.
When selected, this option will mirror the image horizontally.
When checked, this will apply a grayscale filter to the image, turning any color image into a grayscale image.
When checked, this will apply a negative filter to the image, inverting all the colors within the image.
First click the "Upload..." button, select your TXT file to upload. Select any configuration options. When the TXT to PNG conversion has completed, you can download your PNG file straight away.

The Data Uri TXT file format is a method of embedding external webpage resources, such as images, directly into the HTML markup. The benefit of embedding external resources is that it reduces HTTP requests for a webpage, thus reducing the overall load time.
Data is encoded using the Base64 method of encoding binary data as text using ASCII characters. Due to the encoding method, the resulting file size will be around 33% larger than the binary equivalent, so there is a trade-off between the number of HTTP requests and the increase in request size.

The PNG graphics file format is a commonly used format for storing 2D images, which can be highly compressed by the use of a palette if the image has a sufficiently low number of colors (256 colors in general). The PNG file is then further compressed using the DEFLATE compression algorithm to ensure small file sizes that are fast to download.
PNG files are seen as the logical successor to the GIF image file format and was devised in the mid-1990s as a superior format to GIF. PNG files are generally used for company logos, icons, and other non-photographic image content. Saving a digital photo in the PNG format will create a much larger file than an equivalent JPG image, hence the PNG format being unsuitable for most digital photo content.
