Use our free and fast online tool to convert your TIFF (Tag Image File Format) image or logo into 3D OFF (Object File Format) mesh/model files suitable for printing with a 3D printer or for loading into your favourite 3D editing package.
Here are 3 simple steps to create an OFF file from a TIFF file.
The TIFF image you upload can be any size, however our tool will resize it to a maximum of 600x600 pixels for normal users and for those who have paid for a premium subscription this is increased to a maximum of 1000x1000 pixels.
First click the "Upload..." button, select your TIFF file to upload. Select any configuration options. When the TIFF to OFF conversion has completed, you can download your OFF file straight away.
We aim to process all TIFF to OFF conversions as quickly as possible, this usually takes around 5 seconds but can be more for larger more complex files so please be patient.
We aim to create the most accurate conversions with our tools. Our tools are under constant development with new features and improvements being added every week.
Yes, of course! We do not store the TIFF file you submit to us. The resulting OFF file, once created is deleted 1 hour after upload and the download link will expire after this time.

|Full Name||Tag Image File Format|
The TIFF file extension is a raster graphics file format originally created in 1986 making it one of the older image file formats available. The format was created by Aldus Corporation (Now Adobe) for use in Desktop Publishing software is still a popular format which is still in use today.
The format has evolved over time from its original use in DTP applications, Fax machine software, Optical Character Recognition software and more. TIFF files are binary and can contain one or more images arranged in a rectangular data format within the file.
The OFF file format is a simple text-based format capable of storing 2D and 3D geometry and was originally developed for the Geomview application. There is also an extension to the OFF format used by the Stella4D application to enable storage of four-dimensional data.
The format can contain common vector information such as vertices, faces, shape, edge information and also has support for including color information. As the format is text based the files can become rather large with no built-in compression options available.
OFF files support per face color information. If your uploaded model contains color information our tool will attempt to save this in the OFF file at the end of the conversion process.
